The Inquiry process involves using tools to pinpoint your intention.
Knowing the questions is only part of the equation. Listening to and watching your body's response is the other. Like all practitioners, Lisa asks for your "story"; what comes to mind, what hurts, what needs alterations and adjustments. She also uses movement tools, hands-on evaluation, and her keen eye to hear the story your BODY is telling. We work together to get the entire story, including those subtle messages from your heart and soul.
Together with the information you offer (your experience and viewpoint, medical tests and diagnoses) and somatic evaluations (movement, posture, hands-on), Lisa also utilizes Compassionate Inquiry, a psychotherapeutic approach developed by Gabor Maté, MD that "reveals what lies beneath the appearance we present to the world." Maté's conversation coupled with Lisa's ability to place a hand directly ON your place of pain and limitation offers a method of lasting change in health and performance.
