By the completion of The Somatic Processing Framework Labs, participants will be able to:
- Develop embodies literacy by recognizing, interpreting, and responding to the body's internal signals - including sensation, impulse, emotion, and state - as meaningful information.
- Establish and maintain nervous system regulation using body-based tools that support safety, presence, and adaptability across varied contexts.
- Differentiate cognitive narratives from somatic information, learning to access meaning through sensation rather than story alone.
- Understand movement, stillness, and rest as informational inputs, not merely as exercises or techniques, and use them intentionally to influence internal state.
- Identify patterns of tension, protection, and adaptation held within the body and understand their functional and historical role.
- Increase tolerance for sensation and experience, including discomfort and stillness, without overwhelm, avoidance, or dissociation.
